This report shows the number of times your selected SharePoint web pages were viewed during a specific time period, and the most popular pages. A page view is defined as an instance of a page being loaded by a user's browser. Each view of the same SharePoint page by the same visitor is counted as an independent page view. The information in this report is useful in determining your website's overall popularity. Knowing the most popular pages for your SharePoint website can help you optimize your navigation and content.
This report also includes a geographic map of where on Earth people are visiting your site from.
Page View Report
Note:
- CardioLog records a page view every time a page is loaded into a web browser and the JavaScript code on that page is executed. This includes the first visit to the web site, any page refreshes, and any reloads of the page from a cache.
- If a visitor turns off JavaScript in their browser, then CardioLog will not record their visits.
- If a visitor turns off cookies, then CardioLog will still record their visits, but may record the same visitor as multiple Unique Users.
- The Map widget is based on visitor IP, even if the user accesses the site through a proxy or VPN.
