The following are terms used in the CardioLog user interface:
Report pages may be scheduled at regular intervals and present data about individual items and pages based on the widget(s) in the Report. The report may include several widgets and can be viewed either in CardioLog Report Center, or by going directly to the report's URL address.
Real Time Preview | Real time preview is available by running ad-hoc queries directly on the CardioLog database. This feature is available for analysts who wish to view reports at a specific time. |
Templates can be defined for any object type in your monitored environment (e.g. Area, Site, List, etc.). Each template includes several widgets (similar to a report). A user can view real time data for a specific object in the Object Explorer by selecting a report template from a predefined list of templates. CardioLog provides several templates for each object type by default.
Widget | This is a visual component that displays the results of a query. There are several types of components: |
Metric | Metric refers to the query results contained in the widget (such as number of page views for a site, top search terms, etc.) |
Object Explorer | Object Explorer contains a hierarchal list of the objects which are monitored by CardioLog. The Professional edition includes all objects in the Microsoft SharePoint environment. In the Enterprise edition, Object Explorer includes other portals and applications. Object Explorer represents the hierarchal structure upon which CardioLog performs the various query aggregations (for instance, number of page views for a site and its sub sites). |
Home Page ("Specific" mode) | Report data for a selected item in Object Explorer (the selected item home page). |
All Pages ("Aggregated" mode) | Report data for a selected item and all children items in Object Explorer (the selected item and all its sub-items). |
Favorites | A collection of objects in Object Explorer which were selected by the user for real time preview. |
Views | The number of times the page or document was viewed. |
Visits | A visit is a series of SharePoint page requests from the same uniquely identified client with a time of no more than 30 minutes between each page request. |
Unique Users | The number of single visitors as identified by login information, or an anonymous cookie, or IP address. |
Duration | The average time (in seconds) spent on a web page within a specific item or level of the portal hierarchy. |
Exit Rate | The percentage of times a specific SharePoint page was the last page in a visit to the web site. |
Bounce Rate | The percentage of visitors who see only one page during a visit to your site. |
