CardioLog Analytics SaaS automatically tracks various actions a user makes in the monitored environment such as page views, document views, searches, video interactions and more.
The CardioLog Analytics SaaS Tracking Agent offers an Extended Tracking API to send custom events, such as button clicks, banner clicks, navigation links or interactions with other UI components that display content dynamically (without redirecting to the actual content page URL).
The Custom Events Overview report displays the number of custom events and can be filtered by the event type, metadata keys and values and source page URL address. All visuals in the report will respond accordingly to any filter or highlighted data point.

Custom Events
This visual displays the total number of custom events (actions) generated by all users within the selected date range. The line graph in the background indicates trends in custom events over time.
Custom Events by Type
This chart includes a breakdown of the number of custom events by event type.
Users
This visual displays the total number of unique users who have generated custom events within the selected date range. The line graph in the background indicates trends in the volume of users over time.
Custom Events by Username
This chart includes a breakdown of the number of custom events by user name.
Custom Events Metadata
This table includes the following columns:
- URL - Provides a direct link to the source page the event was generated on
- Event Type - The name of the custom event
- Metadata Key, Metadata Key Value - Additional information attached to the custom event in a form of key-value pairs. The key is the name and the value is the content.
Filters
Event Type
Use this filter to navigate through your custom events and simply check the box next to any event type to review information for exclusively that selection.
Metadata Key
Use this filter to navigate through your custom events metadata keys and simply check the box next to any metadata key to review information for exclusively that selection.
Metadata Key Value
Use this filter to navigate through your custom events metadata key values and simply check the box next to any metadata key value to review information for exclusively that selection.
Source Page URL
Use this filter to navigate through your portal pages and simply check the box next to any page to review information about custom events generated on exclusively this page.
Department
Use this filter to navigate through your departments and simply check the box next to any department to review information about custom events generated by users who belong to this department.
Date
Use the date slider to quickly change the start or end date that you would like review information for. If you'd like to choose a specific date, click either the start or end date and manually select it using the calendar popup.
Note: The SharePoint Custom Events report requires an additional license and is not included out-of-the-box.
