A visit is an individual user's interaction with a web site consisting of one or more requests for a page. If an individual does not taken another action (typically additional page views) on a site within a specified time period, the visit will automatically terminate by timing out.

By default, a visit will terminate after 30 minutes of inactivity by the visitor. The length of inactivity can be modified by customizing the CardioLog tracking code.
