Augmented Analytics drives user adoption and productivity with SaaS-based data analytics maps and insights designed for SharePoint and Microsoft 365.
Using Augmented Analytics you can pinpoint problematic areas on the SharePoint page so that you can take action based on the data.

Click maps show what content on a page users mostly clicked on.
Use the click map to understand where your visitors are clicking within a particular page as well as the flow of clicks within the page which helps you track on-page user engagement, such as clicks on buttons, links, images etc. which in turn helps you optimize your pages.
- Navigate to your SharePoint portal and hover over the Augmented Analytics icon on the bottom right of the screen and sign in with your Microsoft 365 user account.
- Select Click.
- In the top toolbar, select Object to see an Object Map which shows the click popularity on any webpage element of your choice.
- Hover over any webpage element with your mouse cursor to see quantitative data about the number of clicks on the selected webpage element and the user click percentage out of all webpage elements.
Augmented Analytics Object Map - In the top toolbar, select Points to see a Points Map which shows the click popularity of the different areas on your webpage.
- At a glance, see a graphical representation of all the areas on your webpage where visitors click as well as areas of your webpage that are being ignored.

The heat map aggregates all mouse activity to show which content was consumed the most.
Knowing what content is being consumed the most and what content is being ignored helps to truly understand the highest relevancy of content and what content can be moved, deleted or archived.
- Navigate to your SharePoint portal and hover over the Augmented Analytics icon on the bottom right of the screen and sign in with your Microsoft 365 user account.
- Select Click.
- In the top toolbar, select Heatmap to see a Heat Map which shows an aggregate of where visitors click their mouse on.
- At a glance, see a graphical representation of how visitors interact with your website, where the data values are color-coded to show the elements that have been clicked the most (red, orange, yellow). The redder the area, the more visitors clicked on it.

The scroll map shows the page exposure level for every item on the page by showing how far down people scroll on the page.
With this information you'll be able to spot pages that are too long or not compelling enough to scroll through and make sure relevant content, links, and calls to action are seen by the vast majority of your visitors, and avoid a lot of content being missed by visitors simply due to the position on the page.
- Navigate to your SharePoint portal and hover over the Augmented Analytics icon on the bottom right of the screen and sign in with your Microsoft 365 user account.
- Select Scroll to see a Scroll Map which shows how far down a page a user scrolls.
- At a glance, see the exact percentage of people who scroll down to any point on the page and how much time they've spent on it. The redder the area, the more visitors saw it.

Data Filtering

Filter by date range
In the top right toolbar, select Filter.
Select Date Range to filter the data by any date range. The Date Range includes fixed values such as Yesterday and Last 7 Day, along with a Custom option. In the Custom Date Range calendar date selection option, you may simply click the desired From date and To date on the calendar.
Click Apply to save your changes.
Filter by user department, geography & location
In the top right toolbar, select Filter.
Select the second tab to filter the data by user department or location.
Click Apply to save your changes.
Data Sharing
Save a snapshot of your Augmented Analytics reports.
- In the top right toolbar, select Share.
- Select Download Snapshot to save a snapshot of the current report view with applied filters.
